On December 13, 2017, we hosted our traditional benefit event, for which—after many years—we chose a new format, combining it with the celebration of the holiday of Hanukkah.
The gathering took place at Café Jedna in the Trade Fair Palace (Veletržní palác), where we welcomed around 250 participants across all generations. The festive evening included the collective lighting of the Hanukkah menorah, a traditional menu, and a rich raffle. For our youngest visitors, madrichim under the leadership of Ben Hess prepared a varied children’s program. Wonderful live music for dancing and listening was provided by the band Oranžáda. The evening was hosted once again by Ester Janečková, to whom we extend our heartfelt gratitude for many years of warm cooperation.
The benefit raised 41,056 CZK, which will be used in 2018 to support the Hagibor Social Care Home as part of our care for Holocaust survivors.
We thank all guests for creating a wonderful atmosphere and supporting our projects.
