On Monday, November 28, 2016, we hosted our annual benefit concert for donors and partner organizations in the intimate setting of the Ungelt Theatre. The main highlight of the evening was a recital by legendary singer Marta Kubišová.
Among our guest of honor, we were pleased to welcome Minister of Culture Daniel Herman and Minister for Human Rights Jiří Dienstbier. The evening was hosted, as is tradition, by Ester Janečková. During the concert, Marta Kubišová performed her most famous songs, culminating in her iconic Modlitba pro Martu (Prayer for Marta).
Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to financially support projects under the Care for Holocaust Survivors program, contributing a total of 13,800 CZK. We also deeply appreciate the support of Conseq Investment Management, which donated 50,000 CZK to the NFOH.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ungelt Theatre for their long-standing cooperation in hosting this event, as well as to all guests for the warm atmosphere and support. We look forward to future gatherings.
