On 15 July 2021, we organized our first volunteer cleaning at the Jewish cemetery in Kovanice. The volunteers cleaned up major part of the cemetery, including a recently fallen tree, with great energy. The accompanying task was to find the previously unknown tombstone of Franz Kafka’s grandmother; unfortunately, we were unsuccessful, and we will continue our search next year, when we will finalize the cleaning of the cemetery.
