This Tuesday, the Jewish Community of Teplice transfered the tombstones, originally coming from an old Jewish cemetery in Údlice, from the Regional Museum in Chomutov, where the tombstones were temporarily stored from the nineties of the 20th century. The tombstones were transfered back to Údlice cemetery where a stone collection will be established as a memorial place in memory of the Jewish people from Údlice. On the same day, fragments of Jewish tombstones were also picked up in the Old Quarter of Údlice and transported to Údlice cemetery, too. The transfer of tombstones took place with our financial support, under the supervision of the clergy of the Teplice Jewish Community, Mr Tomáš Pulec. Thank you!
