The Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic together with our Fund organized an annual ceremonial meeting of Shoa survivors Czech Senate on 25th January 2013 on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remebrance Day.
The event took place under the auspicies of Milan Stech, the head of the Czech Senate and Miroslava Nemcova, the head of Czech Parlament. Both of them adressed the audience with speeches. Another speech was delivered by prof. Tomas Kosta, a survovor of Auschwitz.
The event was attended by tens of Shoa survivors, representatives of diplomacy, senators amd MPs, the Prague chief rabbi and the Prague archibichop and many other perosnalities of the Czech cultural and political life.
