On Monday, June 23, 2025, we organized another accredited seminar for social service staff in Jewish communities across the Czech Republic, titled “Personal Boundaries in Social Service Provision” with Mgr. Veronika Marie Žižková.
Together with the lecturer, participants discussed building trust and good relationships with clients, ethical issues, setting healthy boundaries, and the risks of crossing them. They addressed professional conduct, managing client expectations, and how to avoid manipulation or burnout. The program also included practical exercises on how to kindly say “no,” managing emotions, and experiential exercises focused on self-reflection and self-care.
The seminar was held in cooperation with MAVO s. r. o., an organization focusing on education across various target groups throughout the Czech Republic through courses, seminars, public workshops, and more.
We would like to thank the Public Benefit Association for the Support of Holocaust Survivors for their financial contribution, the Jewish Museum in Prague for providing their venue, and all the donors who make our seminars possible.
