On November 22, the 7th Beneficiary Concert took place. The Foundation has been organizing an annual benefit since 2007. The concert traditionally serves as a warm gathering for the Foundation and its friends and supporters, many of whom are representatives and staff members of organizations supported through our grant programs. The purpose of the benefit evening is to acquaint attendees with the Foundation’s work and key activities, while highlighting impactful projects carried out with our financial support. Above all, the evening served as a benefit event—funds raised from admission, raffle contributions, and donations directly support projects managed under our Care, Remembrance, Restoration, and Future programs.
The evening was hosted by Ester Janečková. She first welcomed Michal Borges, Chairman of the NFOH Board of Directors, who delivered a short address, after which we presented our activities. Following the introductory remarks, the stage belonged to music. Dominika Weiss Hošková and Jiří Hošek performed a selection of Jewish songs arranged by the latter. They were followed by the Petra Erneyi Quartet, who performed a series of jazz songs for the audience.
This year, the concert raised 23,537 CZK. We thank all attendees and donors for their support. Our gratitude also goes to our partners: Conseq, the construction firm Hlaváček, České vinařství Chrámce, the Jewish Museum in Prague, mamacoffee, the Town of Loštice, Rudolf Jelínek, Respekt a tolerance o.s., AST Kosher Food, the Jewish Community of Prague, Association for the Úštěk Synagogue and Cemetery, the Jewish Community of Olomouc, Žešovská pálenice, and all our volunteers. We look forward to meeting again next year!
