On 10 July 2018, at the age of 94, Mr. Luděk Eliáš, died. He was a theatre and film director, actor, and publicist. Luděk Eliáš survived the Terezín Ghetto, Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, Sachsenhausen and the death march. For many years he devoted a lot of effort in passing down his life experience. He mostly met with school students and talked to them about the atrocities connected with Holocaust. He warned people of racism and xenophobia. On 27 January 2014, he gave a speech on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day in Czech Senate. To read his speech, see the attachment.
