The Jewish Community of Brno invites you to the 5th edition of the international multi-genre festival of Jewish culture, ŠTETL FEST, taking place from August 26–30 in Brno.
As part of the rich program, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of prominent Jewish families in Brno, listen to great music, or taste traditional Jewish dishes. A wide range of lectures, workshops, guided walks, and exhibitions is also prepared.
We would also like to highlight another discussion from the series “I Am Jewish and Healthy” (Jsem Žid a zdráv), which will be held this year on Friday, August 28, at 1:00 PM at the Husa na provázku Theatre. The panel will be moderated by Irena Kalhousová, with guests Marina Šternová, editor-in-chief of revue Prostor, and journalist Jakub Szántó.
