Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky would like to invite you to an exhibition The Stories of Tiché Údolí – The Fates Sealed by Swastika, Hammer and Sickle. The exhibition portrays architectonic elements of summer villas located in Roztoky’s Tiché Údolí, the valley shaped by Únětice stream, as well as it depicts the fates of Jewish builders, entrepreneurs and their families, who built and lived in the villas till the Nazi time came to power – the majority of these citizens were deported to concentration camps. German Empire confiscated the villas and later they were used by the Communist regime. The exhibition will stay open from 27 April to 28 October 2018. The private view of the exhibition took place on 26 April 2018 at 16:30 in the Brauner Mill garden, 5 Riegrova St., Roztoky.
